In early March each year, football players from Freedom High School visit classrooms at Miller Heights to celebrate Read Across America Day with us.  The visitors read aloud Dr. Seuss books to our primary grades in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday.  They share age-appropriate books with our intermediate grade students.  Miller Heights students and staff decorate classrooms and hallways in anticipation of this special celebration.
